Introducing Rural Ghana Aid.

Charity Number 20206745

100% Non Profit.

In 2021, Rural Ghana Aid’s founder traveled to Ghana to embark on her journey in community development in the rural village of Kokrobite. Since then, Clodagh has been living there, dedicating herself to advancing community development, with a particular focus on education and sanitation initiatives. She also serves as the Director Nii Kwatei Academy and H.O.M.E, an education-focused Non Profit Organisation in Ghana that builds and develops schools.

During Clodagh’s time in Ghana, she has recognised the immediate need for investment in WASH projects including water wells. She noticed the incredible distances that had to be travelled for the community to access clean water, the time girls spend outside the classroom and the water borne diseases that are present within the rural villages that come from the lack of access to clean water.

Clodagh has now founded this dedicated water and sanitation NPO, Rural Ghana Aid. Rural Ghana aid is legally registered with the Chairities Regulator Ireland, as well being registered in Ghana.

Through the launch of the Plan H20 initiative, the organization aims to focus exclusively on improving water well infrastructure in rural communities, ensuring families have easier access to clean water.

100% of all proceeds from Plan H20 go directly towards sanitation projects, primarily focused of the construction of water wells.
